oh hell yeah.... explosion. no kiddin... i was lucky enuff to be back at my cubicle. i was luckier that there's no one in the environmental lab. i was luckiest no one was injured. but i will be unlucky to be pushing testings to external labs. i will be unluckier to face the music tomorrow. i will be unluckiest if we have to bear all the cost.
damn it, just 15-20 mins after the bugger who installed the DI water left, it explodes. what if i were in there? could i die? i wonder. but i dont wanna die this way. i wanna die young still but not this way. i wanna die in one piece. at a beautiful place. with everything beautiful surrounding me. ok fine! its up to HIM to decide.
back to the explosion, the moment the thing went BOOOM! i stood up. i dashed to the Env Lab. I opened the door, thick smoke gushed out... the pungent was unbearable. the strong chemical smell almost made me puke on the spot. ikan got me a face mask. i went to the engine room. the compressor looked disgusting. the fan died. the chiller kapooted. god knows what liquid splashed on the heater and dripped down the floor. the whole room turned foggy. i made sure everyone is out of the lab. only leaving me and veen inside to investigate. told laveen i was quite afraid to touch the parts. as eager to know what's wrong, i still could think of my wife. what if something happened to me. those things in there are of 430v. unlike those voltage u had at home for those appliances. what if i touched something wrong or i slipped and fell into the bay? ok fine... i just ensured that nothing else leaks and i quickly leave. lucky labu remembers there's sharon in the finance room. i went to alert her and she said she heard the loud explosion but didnt know where it came from. and she still can calmly continue her work... alone. gosh. after reminding her, she got a little timid.
