A MALAYSIAN cleaner died after he was mauled by a white tiger at the Singapore Zoo.
Mr Nordin, 32, from Sarawak, is believed to have fallen into the white tiger enclosure at about noon and was immediately pounced on by the three big cats.
Zoo keepers were alerted and tried to rescue Mr Nordin. They tried distracting the three tigers and managed to keep them under control but one of them just kept on mauling Mr Nordin.
After managing to pull the poor chap aside, he was rushed to hospital but died along the way.
Reports said that it was believed he was not supposed to be in the tiger area and was assigned to clean the chimpanzee section. God knows what strucked that poor fella .....
He was seen behaving in an agitated manner before he fell into the den. This made it pretty obvious that he attempted suicide ( i think )... which he later regretted.

Just as I thought, Omar, the white tiger, would be AhMeng's successor as the Singapore Zoo's mascot, such things happened. Pffft....
