With his very own branded Liverpool FC Crocs Kenny was a huge hit at the opening, attracting a big crowd of followers.
Crocs, everyone's favourite comfort shoes, have now launched their brand new range of football licensed shoes, Liverpool F.C. This will be the first UK club to hail the new shoes and to celebrate, the city's much loved Kenny Dalglish, Alan Kennedy, Gary Gillespie and Ronnie Whelan joined in the celebration.
A £3,000 cheque was also presented to the Marina Dalglish Appeal, a charity dedicated to breast cancer.
Based on the traditional Cayman style, the new Liverpool shoe is available in the team's vibrant red and white home colours and embellished with the club logo.
